The new edition will bring important innovations and improvements, which will have a significant impact on the market.
Here are some of the new features (still under development):
- Risk-based approach: the new edition will introduce an innovative systematic approach to identify, assess and manage risk, thus enabling organizations to prevent potential risks and ensure the continuity of their business.
- Greater focus on leadership, which will play and increasingly crucial role within the Quality Management System.
- Integration with other Management Systems: the new edition aims to better integrate with other Management Standards, i.e. ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and to be more compatible with the latest digital technologies (artificial intelligence, etc.), which are getting more and more present in the market and organizations, too.
- Greater involvement of stakeholder, be they customers, suppliers, and/or the organization’s own employees (focus on climate change as a context factor and relevant issue to be considered).
The purpose of the new edition is to reach more and more organizations as well as to integrate continuous improvement into business processes, greater operational efficiency (better performance and reduced waste), and increasing customer confidence and satisfaction.
